Demographic Dynamics
Demographic Dynamics is an interactive enrollment projection model in which the key demographic factors that affect enrollment are isolated and projected separately. Using the underlying population, aged 1-17 as a base, the software allows users to make assumptions about how births, migration, participation rates, cross boundary enrollment, and planned new housing developments will affect enrollment in the future. The resulting enrollment projections are by grade and program for each of the next fifteen years.
- Demographic Dynamics is an absolutely essential tool in our School Division' s planning process. It forms the foundation of our annual budget planning and two year budget forecasting, and gives the Division guidance for the consolidation of programs and how best to use our facilities. We couldn't operate without it.
