Who Is Baragar

Baragar Systems is built around a team of dedicated individuals with years (decades!) of experience serving the needs of the K-12 sector.

Our clients don’t need expertise around building planning systems, mapping or accessing data. Our systems and services allow District staff to focus on the big picture – while letting us do what we’re good at.

School district planning is complex, and traditionally is a very reactive process. Baragar Systems’ mission is to empower clients to move towards proactive planning that addresses the needs of all stakeholders, and facilitates data-driven, confidence-inspiring processes.

At Baragar, innovation is the way we do business. It starts with the way we perform internal processes, development, and data production. We take the lessons that we’ve learned and apply them to the solutions we develop for our clients, both on the business and the education sides.

We love taking great ideas and turning them into reality.

Baragar was founded in 1981 in White Rock, BC, Canada and has been exclusively focused on serving the diverse needs of the K-12 sector for over 40 years.

Baragar works with over 100 School Districts with enrolments ranging from 1100 to 230,000 students in both Canada and the United States. As a testament to the quality of the software, services, and customer support, our first clients from 1981 and 1982 (Burnaby, Victoria, Mission, and Richmond) are still clients to this day.

In 2022, Baragar Systems joined the Univerus family of companies.
